Located to the southeast of the city of Chihuahua we find the Copper Canyon, which is made of twenty canyons of up to 3,046 meters high, the extension of thsese canyons surpasses in four times those of Grand Canyon in Arizona.
Day 1: Arrival in Chihuahua
Arrival to Chihuahua – Reception and transfer to the hotel.In the Evening, City Tour including; the government palace,the main Plaza, The Cathedral and the Revolution Museum, formerly the House of Pancho Villa. Overnight at the Palacio del Sol hotel.
Day 2: Chihuahua - Creel
Very early transfer from the hotel to the train station in order to approach the “Chihuahua al Pacifico” train for a ride of approximately 5 hours to Creel. Transfer to the hotel. In the evening visit the Arareco Lake, Tarahumara Caves and the Jesuit mission. Overnight at Best Western Lodge at Creel hotel. B
Day 3: Creel - Divisadero - Barrancas
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning on your on and transfer to the train station and continue our journey to arrive in Divisadero, stop for approx 15 minutes to see the wonderful views. Continue to Posada Barrancas. Transfer to the Hotel. Free evening to admire the impressive Copper Canyon. TIP: Excursion to the Divisadero and Arepo viewpoint with its beautiful views, church and communities. Dinner and overnight at Mirador hotel. B, D
Day 4: Posada Barrancas - Los Mochis
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning on your on to walk and to enjoy the beauty of landscapes by the viewpoints of the Canyon. Lunch included. Transfer to the train station to continue through Sierra Tarahumara towards Los Mochis. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Santa Anita Hotel. B, L
Day 5: Los Mochis - Fly out from Mexico
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure transfer from hotel to the airport. B
